In Vitro Antifungal Activity of of Pleurotuseryngii against Trichophytonrubrum

Biological control represents an important approach for controlling many dermatophyte fungi.Pleurotuseryngiiisa promising and effective bioagent against pathogenic fungi. In this paperPleurotuseryngiiwere screened their efficacy Trichophytonrubrum. The results had been revealedthat the fruiting bodies extract of bioagentPleurotuseryngiiaffected radial growth dermatophytefungus test fungus at all concentrations inhibitory effect on theradial revealed also that ethanolic was moreeffective than aqueous Pleurotuseryngiibut lower affectivity antifungal drugclotrimazole.
